About Us

Crystal Ezell is a native of South Carolina who moved to Atlanta, GA in 2000.  She is the eldest of 3 children and the only daughter of a retired Marine-turned-Pastor and a retired elementary school teacher.  

Crystal graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  

Crystal has worked as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Specialist in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia serving the birth-5 year-old and school-aged population in home health, school, and clinical settings.

After a highly successful career of 23 years as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, with 9 of those years as CEO of her own Speech Therapy company, Crystal officially retired from speech therapy and left the corporate world in 2018, ready for rest and relaxation.

However, Divine Intervention had other plans for her. She has now taken her skills and experience as a small business owner and successful entrepreneur and put it all into her new venture, IVY CANDLES.

Ivy Candles, LLC came into existence in late 2018. It is a family run business based out of Atlanta, GA.  All of their candles are made from 100% premium, all natural soy wax, scented with high quality fragrances, which leads to deeply scented, slower burning, and longer lasting candles.
